Dear WCS Families,
As the first quarter comes to a close, I want to express my deep gratitude for your continued support and involvement at Wayne Christian School. It’s been a joy to witness how God is moving in our school this year, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside you as we assist in your children’s education. Your role as the God-ordained parents in their lives is pivotal, and we are here to support you as you lead and guide them. Your involvement is not just appreciated, but it is integral to our mission.
With the first quarter behind us, I’m excited to highlight some of the remarkable achievements of our students. Our high school basic home repair class has been a fantastic addition, equipping students with practical life skills. The launch of our new entrepreneurship class has been equally exciting as students explore what it means to start and manage their own businesses while keeping Christ at the center of their efforts. Their development of leadership and stewardship from a Biblical perspective is truly inspiring and should make you all proud.
In middle school, our broadcasting class has taken off, and students are producing a weekly broadcast that’s shared during homeroom. Their growing confidence and the use of their God-given gifts to communicate and collaborate is a source of pride for all of us. And let’s not forget our elementary students, who gave a heartfelt performance for Grandparents Day. The dedication and joy they brought to the stage reflected the love and care you pour into their lives at home, and we are all proud of their growth.
Everything we do at WCS is grounded in our mission: to assist parents and churches in the education of their children, from a Biblical worldview, to impact their world for Christ. I’ve had the privilege of meeting with many of you, and I understand the challenges families are facing right now. Even in the midst of these challenges, I see your faithfulness, and I’m encouraged by the way God is working through each of you as you lead your children. At WCS, we are committed to standing alongside you in this discipleship journey, ensuring that your children’s spiritual growth is always a top priority.
As we look to the future, I humbly ask for your continued prayers. Like many others, we’re facing economic challenges, but we are unwavering in our commitment to being good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. We are dedicated to transparency, and I want to assure you that we’re managing the school with wisdom and care, seeking God’s direction in every decision.
In the coming weeks, I’ll share some exciting changes that we believe will strengthen our school as we continue to fulfill our mission. I’m filled with anticipation about the future and look forward to keeping you updated on what’s to come. I hope you share in this excitement and look forward to the positive impact these changes will have on our school.
Thank you again for your prayers and support and for allowing us to assist you in educating and discipling your children. Together, we are preparing the next generation to make a lasting impact for Christ.
Blessings,
Luis O. Miranda, Wayne Christian School
