As we proceed through the summer, WCS is happy to announce additional hires to fill out our staff.
Amanda Lethco has been hired as a part-time music teacher in the elementary school. Mrs. Lethco has 7 years of teaching experience, the most recent one being in the 3K program at the WCS Childcare Center. Before that, she taught 6th grade at Faith Christian Academy in Goldsboro and 1st and 2nd grades at Great Bridge Christian Academy in Chesapeake, VA.
Mrs. Lethco holds a bachelor’s degree in education with a music minor from Southeastern Free Will Baptist Bible College. She is excited to join the elementary faculty for the 2019-2020 school year!
Angie Darden has been hired as the admissions coordinator for WCS. Mrs. Darden is a familiar face around campus, as she has taught piano lessons to students for many years. Her daughters both graduated from WCS, and she is passionate about reaching new families and welcoming them to WCS.
Kevin Craig will be teaching high school Bible and serving as the technology coordinator. Mr. Craig graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity in Christian Education. He comes to us after serving as a children’s pastor in Texas for the last 5 years.
Mr. Craig says, “I believe God is calling me into a lifetime of Christian education. I have a heart for ministering to students and teaching them to live a life through the lens of a Biblical worldview and what it means to be a Christ follower.”
