WCS Family,
Effective Monday, March 16, Wayne Christian School will suspend on-campus classes for kindergarten-12th grade. We will begin remote learning on Tuesday, March 17, for at least two weeks. Monday will be a workday for K-12 teachers. Faculty and staff will be available to assist you from 9:00 am-noon. The child care center will remain open on regular hours for the time being.
Kindergarten-12th: We are moving to a remote learning mode of operation. School will still take place, but it will be done remotely. Please look for an email from Mr. Miranda on Sunday, outlining instructions for how this will be accomplished. Students will need books for all core classes (math, history, English, science, and high school Spanish). High school students will need their Chromebook and charger. If your child did not take their books home Friday or need to get their Chromebook, please make plans to come by the school Monday morning between 9:00 am-noon.
RenWeb (K-12): Please take the time to make sure your parent AND student (grades 6-12) RenWeb accounts are working. If you have any problems, please email hburt@waynechristian.org. Mrs. Burt will be able to reply to your questions on Monday.
Daycare and Preschool: The child care center will be open with limited staffing on normal operating hours for the time being. We ask that you find alternative childcare arrangements if at all possible. Families who do not bring their children to the daycare during the next two weeks will not be charged weekly tuition.
After School Activities: All after school and other school-sponsored activities are suspended until further notice.
