Achievement Tests are coming up next week. Achievement Tests will occur on Tuesday, April 30 – Thursday, May 2, for all first through eighth-grade students. The purpose of this letter is to inform you about the tests so that – with your support and encouragement – your child will do their best on the tests.
The school day will begin at 8:00, with the tests starting promptly at 8:15 each day. To maintain an optimal testing environment, classrooms will not be interrupted once testing begins. It’s vital that students are punctual and only miss school for sickness or emergencies. If your child misses a test day, please notify the office immediately. Absent students can make up the tests in the afternoons only. We appreciate your cooperation in scheduling doctor or dental appointments late afternoon to avoid test make-ups.
It’s essential that your students are well-rested and understand the significance of these tests. Encourage them not to worry but to approach the tests with a serious mindset. The most prepared student is well-rested, well-fed, and maintains a positive attitude toward testing.
