Special Moments ….
Being away is always great – but there is just something special about coming back! As I have walked through the hallways this week there have been many, “Happy New Year’s ” and “How was your Christmas?” There were students hugging each other, so happy to be back at school to see their friends. As I walked by a teacher today, she said to me, “You are going to miss a great science lesson today, Mrs. Ford! I can’t wait to teach it!” Another teacher sent me a great resource that other teachers might use for incorporating Biblical integration into their lessons Our three days of in-service training gave teachers new tools they can use in their classrooms immediately and other tools that they can add into their lessons in the near future.
We are excited about Spirit Week next week as we anticipate our Homecoming on Friday night January 18th! Homecoming is always a wonderful time for our seniors and their parents but also for our alumni and for the entire WCS family. I hope to see you there!
There will be so many special moments in the next 18 weeks … The atmosphere is electric with excitement, not just to be back, but because of what God is doing here at WCS.
