Why did you choose WCS for your children?

As a graduate of WCS, I have first hand knowledge of the care and personal attention of the faculty and staff.  It means so much to a parent to feel their children are not only getting a great education, but are also truly cared about in a wonderful Christian atmosphere.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

My favorite part of our experience at WCS is the genuine friendships and relationships we have built with teachers and fellow parents.  WCS is truly a family!

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

We decided that the most important thing in our children’s lives daily was the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

We love the fact that Wayne Christian is like a FAMILY.  We have been involved at Wayne Christian for 9 years now.  Our oldest, Wilder, is now in 4th grade and has been at Wayne Christian since he was in the 1 year old class at the Daycare Building.  North is now in Kindergarten and has also been at Wayne Christian since the 1 year old class.  Journey is in K4 at the Daycare Building, but will also be attending Kindergarten next year at “the BIG school”.  We love the Christian values the school helps to instill in our kids, above and beyond what we teach them at home.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

We love the teachers, they are caring and very involved. And they want the parents to also be involved.  We love how safe the campus is; we are never worried about our children once they are dropped off in the mornings.  We are kept informed of things happening on or around campus.  They offer extended care for parents who work and even have a Summer Camp.  Wayne Christian also has a wonderful sports program, so our children can be involved in sports but also get a Christian education.  We love when the kids recite their Bible verses to us.  We ask them on a daily basis “what did you learn at school today?” …Wilder being older will give us several things, but the 2 youngest will quickly tell us that they learned all about Jesus.  Makes our heart smile.

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

If you want a school that teaches Chrstian values alongside you,  small classrooms, caring and loving teachers, that FAMILY FEEL, then Wayne Christian is for you.  We are very blessed and fortunate to call Wayne Christian home.

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

We chose WC because we wanted a private school with a strong emphasis on following Christ as well as a strong education background.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

We have been a part of WCS since Scotlyn was 10 weeks old- we love the closeness, small classrooms, Christian teachers and administrators. We appreciate the world view approach to education. It is a place Scotlyn can grow spiritually and academically.

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

Many people say they can’t afford private Christian school…We say how can you not take this chance to invest your child’s future? With the uncertainty of the world around us, it is a calming presence to know that Scotlyn is loved, cared for, and growing in God’s Word everyday.

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

I chose WCS for my children because I wanted them to have a Biblical education, Christian influences of friends, and Christian mentors they could look up to.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

I have so many favorite parts about our experience at WCS that it’s hard to choose. The teachers, the staff, the curriculum, my coworkers, feeling like we are a big family and all that the school does for all of us staff and students. I love everything about the school.

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

Christian education is one of the best decisions I have made for my children, and the Godly influences of the staff are helping to shape my children into Godly men.

WCS Cafeteria Giving Back Fundraiser

From Paris Verme, WCS Cafeteria Manager

We LOVE this time of year!!  This is our time to do what we are called to do and that is to help and be a blessing to as many as we can.   We have been very successful in our mission of giving back to our WCS families and our community in the past with your help.

We have been able to bless families with Thanksgiving meals, fed the fire department for Thanksgiving since they give up so much to serve their communities, given blessing baskets to those who are going through personal battles, and we provided lunch to our Emergency Department at the hospital during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We want to continue blessing and helping those that are in need.  We feel this is our mission that we need to fulfill to follow what we have been called to do.

On Wednesday November 4, 2020, we will be serving spaghetti plates.  Plates will be $7 each. They will include spaghetti, bread, and a chocolate chip cookie. We will also be selling a family pack that will feed a family of 6 (spaghetti for 6, 6 breads, and 6 cookies).  The family styles will be $30.

Pickup times will be from 2:30pm-6pm for your convenience in front of the gym when picking up your children from school.  Middle and high school, please pick up your child first to keep elementary line moving quickly.

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

Why did you choose WCS for your children? My three kids have been attending public schools since Kindergarten. Last year, we faced many challenges within the public school setting that left me wondering if there were better options for my children’s education. As a single parent, I knew that I wanted my kids in a structured Christian environment. However, I did not think it was possible until a friend recommended Wayne Christian!

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

The people! From the teachers to the principals, if I need anything or have any questions, they are available!   I can tell that the staff is motivated and passionate about what they do.  The teachers have created a loving and nurturing environment, which is reflected in my children’s attitude about school. I believe that the expectations that they set are clear and gives my children a standard to work toward. The staff has also taken the time to make the transition from in-classroom learning to remote learning as smooth as possible. We all know that this takes a lot of work and they have made it as easy, thanks to their hard work and dedication!! It is clear the staff at Wayne Christian is invested in the well being of our kids!

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

If you’re looking for an alternative to public school give Wayne Christian a try. The transition from a public school to a private school has been a breeze.  I know that my kids are getting a good education with a biblical worldview. All of my kids have adjusted well and they are happy at WCS! I am very impressed!

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

We chose WCS because of the solid biblical world view education we knew our children would receive as well as the opportunity to play in a wide array of competitive sports.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

It’s so hard to pick one favorite thing, but we would have to say the feeling of family/community. With our oldest child having a medical condition, we were never fearful in leaving her at the school for classes or for athletics. We are always greeted with a smile when on campus and feel like we, as a family, are right where we belong. WCS has been a blessing to all three of our children and we are so glad we made the switch eight years ago. If we may add, we have been thoroughly impressed with the new administration and the many positive changes, forward thinking and technological advancements that have been made.

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

In our opinion, a solid biblical education from a school where each individual child is cared for and loved is worth every penny. When parents are involved in their child’s growth, both academically and spiritually, and come alongside the teachers and staff at a school like WCS, there is truly no limit to what we can do in and through the lives of our children. The positive changes that have been made in recent years will only continue to make WCS the best choice for our family as well as many, many others. We welcome the opportunity to speak with anyone about WCS and the many reasons we continue to choose this wonderful school for our family.

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

We wanted a Christian education for our children and wanted to know the teachers were believers and would assist in raising our kids with a solid foundation on faith in God.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

We enjoy the close nit community (this place is really like family to us) and the athletics which includes youth sports.

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

If you want to know your children’s teachers and be confident that they have strong spiritual roots and will train them according to biblical principles while teaching them the core subjects, this is a great place to send your children.

Why did you choose WCS for your children?

We chose WCS because it offers the things we feel are important to our boys, our beliefs, and our values.

What has been your favorite part of your experience at WCS?

There are so many things that we have loved about this school and it is so hard to pick one. Every single staff member I have talked to has been kind, caring, knowledgeable, organized, and they give off the feeling that they truly love their jobs.

What would you share with other parents who are considering Christian education?

Choose WCS because they create such a welcoming atmosphere, incorporate the Bible in their daily lessons, have small class sizes, and give students the attention and help they need to succeed. We have no doubt that this school will have a positive lifelong impact on the boys relationship with God and their successes in the future.
